Warehouse first-in-first-out planning
1. Enter and exit through different doors, enter through the entry door, and exit through the exit door.
2. Joint order system, each box is equipped with two joint orders, one is attached to the box, and the other is placed in the folder, which is sorted according to the warehousing time. When materials are needed, the materials with the earliest documents in the folder are preferentially moved out and used.
3. Dual zone system, material allocation in two zones, the incoming material is put in zone A, the material is issued from Zone B. When the issuance of Zone B is completed, the two zones AB logo plates are exchanged, and the material is always issued in Zone B.
4. Gravity feeding system, suitable for bulk materials, cement, rice, plastic particles, oil, bulk materials in the warehouse, from the upper into the warehouse, the lower out of the warehouse.
5. Transfer area system, the material is moved from one end or one side of the warehouse to the issue end, to ensure that the first show, shortcomings, each issue is moved, and the workload is large. (Goods can be placed on rollers or wheels)

Cargo space design

The size of the space is related to the utilization of the warehouse area and space, and is also related to the smooth access to the space, the size of the space depends on the clearance size that needs to be left around the cargo unit, and the total amount of single materials required during the sales season.
Do not pay attention to the flow of goods (throughput should be placed in the position with the shortest moving distance, including the main channel and low cargo).

Functional area division
It refers to the comprehensive and reasonable arrangement of various components of the warehouse - inventory area, warehousing inspection area, tally area, distribution and stock area, channel and auxiliary operation area within the prescribed scope.
1. According to the characteristics of goods classified storage, the characteristics of similar goods centralized storage;
2. Store the goods with large unit volume and large unit weight at the bottom of the shelf, and close to the outlet reservoir and channel;
3. Store the goods with high turnover rate in the most convenient location for loading, unloading and handling;
4. Store the goods of the same supplier or the same customer in a centralized manner to facilitate sorting and distribution operations.

Logistics relevance design
Linear form
At the opposite side of the warehouse, no matter the size of the order and the number of the goods picked, they must pass through the warehouse, which is suitable for simple and small-scale logistics operations;
Double linear
The entrance and exit are on opposite sides of the warehouse, but have two channels, which are suitable for similar operation processes, but have two different logistics forms of import and export patterns;
Zigzag pattern
Entrances and exits are on different sides of the warehouse, and the routes are zigzag, usually suitable for multi-row inventory shelf areas;
U-shape
The entrance and exit are on the same side of the warehouse. According to the frequency of import and shipment, the items with large material flow are arranged in the storage area near the import and export end to shorten the picking and handling route of the items.
Shunt type
It is suitable for batch sorting operation.

Channel design
1. Channel type, passageway into the reservoir area, passageway between each warehouse (warehouse);
2. The direction, width and quantity of the channel, the car channel is not less than 4 meters, and the forklift channel is not less than 3.6 meters;
3. Make the inbound and outbound movement of goods one-way and linear, avoiding the inefficient operation of reverse operation and drastic change of direction;
4. Places that are easy to hit during handling can be wrapped with soft materials (corners, columns, etc.).

Handling equipment design
1. Use high-efficiency material handling equipment;

The basic requirements of stacking: reasonable, firm, quantitative, neat, saving.
Cargo stacking method

Select the location according to the outbound frequency;
The principle of keeping the same variety in the same place;
The principle of ease of identification;
The principle of ease of counting;
Arrange storage method according to shape;
